School Bus Road-eo rides into town
Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (RDCRS) will host a Local School Bus Road-eo on May 25, where drivers from across Central Alberta will test their skills in a day of friendly competition.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m. at École Secondaire Notre Dame High School, drivers will navigate an obstacle course and skill tests including a railroad crossing, diminishing clearance, a back-up stall, and an offset alley.
“The school bus road-eo is an excellent opportunity for our drivers to showcase their skills and dedication to safety. It’s a fun and challenging event that highlights the importance of their role in our community,” says Shevon Coram, RDCRS transportation manager.
Winners from the Local School Bus Road-eo will advance to the Provincial School Bus Road-eo, which is scheduled for June 8 in Leduc.
