Business of the Year Awards nominations open

Nominations for the Business of the Year Awards, organized by the Red Deer District Chamber and held annually in conjunction with Small Business Week, opened on May 14.

This year, the business awards will be presented in six new categories to businesses within the Red Deer area. All companies, whether Chamber members or not, are eligible for nomination for an award in their respective category.

“Over the past years our business community has endured incredible challenges, uncertainty and in many cases hardship. Through it all, there have been so many examples of excellence, resiliency and compassion that makes us so proud to recognize the great contributions and leadership they demonstrate everyday through our Business of the Year Awards,” said Scott Robinson, CEO of the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce.

Award categories are:

• New Business of the Year
• Small Business of the Year
• Not-for- Profit Business of the Year
• Business of the Year
• Business Leader of the Year
• Emerging Businessperson of the Year

The Business of the Year Awards will be held on October 23, 2024, at the Red Deer Polytechnic Arts Centre.

To nominate an outstanding business, please do so here. The deadline for application submissions is July 19, 2024, at noon.
