203 Units Sold In April

Red Deer April home sales up from March and year-over-year

Red Deer home sales saw an increase in April when compared to the month before and the same month last year.

According to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association, there were 203 units sold in April, up from 157 units sold in March, and 180 units sold in April 2023.

Year-to-date numbers show 560 units sold in Red Deer so far this year, up from 523 units sold during the first four months of last year.

The average sale price in Red Deer in April was $378,775, up from $351,220 in March, and $360,819 in April 2023.

Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Red Deer last month was 35 days, down from 40 days in March, and 42 days in April of last year.

For the entire central Alberta market, there were 558 units sold last month, up from 484 units sold in March, and 477 units sold in April 2023.

Year-to-date figures show 1,669 units sold throughout the region so far this year, up from 1,391 units sold during the first four months of 2023.

The average sale price throughout central Alberta last month was $406,108, up from $385,699 in March, and $355,219 in April of last year.

Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in central Alberta last month was 47 days, down from 51 days in March, and 56 days in April 2023.
