Bulldogs back in win column with 4-3 victory over Oilers
The Blackfalds Bulldogs returned to the win column on Saturday night with a 4-3 victory against the Okotoks Oilers at the Eagle Builders Centre.
In their first of back-to-back home games, the team broke their five-game losing streak which included a 4-3 loss to the Oilers on March 1.
The Bulldogs came hot out of the gate with Brendan Ross scoring a goal all the way from the blue line within the first 16 seconds of the first period on Oilers goaltender Christian Green. His eighth goal this season was assisted by Tanner Willick, opening the scoreboard 1-0.
Okotoks was outshooting Blackfalds 12-10 after 20 minutes of play.
