Lake rinks closed for season in Sylvan Lake

Effective Monday March 11, all outdoor rinks are closed in the Town of Sylvan Lake.

Town officials say this includes all neighbourhood rinks, the lake rinks, and lake rink parking lot. The lake access gates on Lakeshore Drive are also closed.

Town officials remind residents that warm temperatures can mean unsafe ice. Users are responsible for ice safety.
