Red Deer Royals Marching Band hosts first ever RED Invitational this Sunday

The Red Deer Royals Marching Band Show will be hosting their first ever RED Invitational this Sunday.

Held indoors at St. Joseph High School (110 – 2700 67 St.) on February 25, officials say the Color Guard and Percussion event will showcase the various talents of the RED Winter Guard and RED Winter Percussion groups, as well as over 20 groups from across the province.

Color Guards consist of choregraphed flag spinning and other equipment, honoring the colors of the group.

Organization officials say they hope citizens come out to support the artists and musicians.

“Experience the mesmerizing magic of Winterguard, the thunderous beats of Winter Percussion, and the enchanting melodies of Winter Winds! Join us for an event of unparalleled artistry and thrilling performances that will leave you breathless. Embrace the chill, feel the passion – Winter Arts at its finest,” they said on their social media.
