Chamber Task Force on Homelessness still seeking feedback on interim “What We Heard” report
The Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) Task Force on Homelessness reminds Red Deerians they have until Feb. 16, 2024, to provide feedback on its interim “What We Heard” report.
“We’ve received numerous thoughtful and detailed responses to the interim report so far,” said Lyn Radford, Task Force Chair. “We want to ensure that the report and subsequent recommendations are as comprehensive and accurate as possible. Therefore, we invite all Red Deerians to provide their input so that we can address this complex issue effectively. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to positive change in our community.”
Officials say the interim report summarizes insights gathered by the Task Force over eight months from various sources, including studies, interviews, facility tours, and community conversations, highlighting the importance of public participation in shaping the Task Force’s next steps.
