Update: Suspect vehicle description released as Three Hills RCMP seek public assistance following pedestrian hit and run

UPDATE: Feb. 9, 2024 – 3:18 p.m.

Three Hills RCMP advise the suspect vehicle is believed to be a 2012-2022 Black Dodge Ram, which will have front end damage.

Central Alberta Mounties are hoping you can help them find a suspect wanted in connection with a pedestrian hit and run.

On Feb. 7, 2024, at approximately 8:57 p.m., Three Hills RCMP responded to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian on 6 Avenue N in Three Hills. Police say the collision took place near the Prairie College campus. Mounties say the investigation has revealed that the pedestrian was struck while in the crosswalk and the suspect vehicle fled the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services.

According to RCMP, the pedestrian was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect vehicle was described as a black pick-up truck which will have damage to the front bumper.
