Red Deer-South MLA Jason Stephan to host Townhall event

Red Deerians are being encouraged to join MLA Jason Stephan and the Red Deer-South UCP Constituency Association for a Townhall event set to take place Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, 7:00 p.m., at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame.

Officials say the evening promises to be an insightful and interactive Q&A session including: the Alberta Pension Plan and the new parental rights policy. According to organizers, attendees will have the opportunity to delve into these subjects and gain a comprehensive understanding of their implications.

There will also be a presentation by Gord Tulk of Libertas Alberta, who is expected to outline the merits and benefits of the proposed Alberta Pension Plan. With a wealth of knowledge and experience, organizers say Tulk will provide attendees with valuable insights, fostering informed discussions around this initiative.

Organizers anticipate the Townhall to serve as a unique platform for constituents and community members to voice their concerns, seek clarification, and engage directly with MLA Jason Stephan and other key representatives. Organizers say the collaborative spirit of the evening aims to strengthen the connection between the elected official and the community, fostering a sense of shared understanding and transparency.
