Didsbury RCMP seek public assistance in identifying sexual assault suspect

RCMP are hoping members of the public can help them identify a sexual assault suspect.

On July 20, 2023, Didsbury RCMP received a report of a sexual assault involving a minor that occurred on July 19, 2023, at a cabaret (after party) following the Dog Pound Rodeo.

Mounties say the alleged incident occurred on or within walking distance of the Dog Pound Rodeo grounds.

Police say the suspect was believed to have gone by the name of “Carter” and is described as follows:

· Fair complexion and clean shaven

· Dirty blonde hair; longer (maybe a mullet)

· Wearing a light coloured button up shirt, blue jeans and boots
