Candlelight vigil in support of Palestine Saturday evening at Red Deer City Hall Park

Motorists and pedestrians are advised that a candlelight vigil in support of Palestine is happening Saturday, Jan. 27 at Red Deer City Hall Park.
The vigil is scheduled to run from 5 to 8 p.m. and will include an open mic portion for people to speak.
Since the Oct. 7, 2023 attack by Hamas against Israel that killed an estimated 1,200 Jewish people, close to 26,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israeli offensives, according to the latest reports.
