Missing Lloydminster man could be in Red Deer

Lloydminster RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 39-year-old male.

Shawn Murphy was last seen in Lloydminster on Jan. 12, 2024 at 5:15 p.m. When last spoken to, Murphy mentioned the possibility of travelling to Red Deer and was driving an early 2010s white Buick four-door sedan, police say.

RCMP are worried for his wellbeing and would like to speak with him.

Shawn Murphy is described as:

• Fair complexion;
• 5 feet, 11 inches tall;
• 159 pounds;
• Brown hair;
• Blue eyes;
• Last seen with a scruffy beard and wearing a winter jacket with grey sweat pants.
