The lottery that goes above and beyond is back with the launch of STARS LOTTERY Alberta.
From now until March 21, 2024, people from across the province can buy their tickets for their chance to win thousands of prizes – including one of three grand prize show homes – and be a part of STARS’ mission to provide critical care, anywhere.
“For nearly 40 years, STARS has relied on the support of Albertans to help ensure everyone has access to life-saving care, no matter who they are, or where they are located,” said Katherine Emberly, STARS president and CEO. “With the purchase of every STARS LOTTERY ticket, Albertans enable us to innovate and deliver on our promise to provide the best in critical care wherever, whenever, and however it’s needed.”
As STARS’ biggest annual fundraiser, officials say STARS LOTTERY plays a vital role in the organization’s day-to-day missions – typically raising enough to fund the 24/7 operations of one of its Alberta bases for an entire year. Additionally, officials note that every STARS LOTTERY ticket purchased supports the investment in leading-edge technology, research into new areas of care, hiring of the best talent, and most importantly helps save more lives.
