Downtown snow clearing continues in Red Deer

Snow clearing on select downtown streets in Red Deer resumes this evening as crews focus on ensuring roads are well-maintained, safe and accessible.

City officials say crews will be focusing on:

• 49 Avenue from 45 Street to 55 Street,
• 51 Avenue from 45 Street to 55 Street,
• 51 Avenue from 39 Street to 34 Street
• 52 Avenue from 43 Street to 39 Street,
• 36 Street from 51 Avenue to 50 Avenue,
• 34 Street from 51 Avenue to 50 Avenue,
• 43 Street from 55 Avenue to 49 Avenue,
• 39 Street from 52 Avenue to 51 Avenue,
• 50A Avenue/42 Street (Hospital Hill)

No parking signs have been placed notifying residents that parking is not permitted Thursday evening. Work will begin at approximately 9 p.m. and continue until it is complete.
