In-person engagements on future of Alberta health care start next week
The Government of Alberta says the future of health care is in your hands.
Starting Jan. 23, the province will host a series of 40 in-person engagement sessions with health care workers and Albertans to help shape the future of health care.
“Ensuring Albertans and their families have a health care system that is responsive and reliable is critical,” says Health Minister Adriana LaGrange. “That’s why it’s so important we have these face-to-face conversations with front-line workers, patients and caregivers about the challenges that exist and how we can build a stronger health care system that serves the current and future needs of Albertans.”
Ministers will attend the sessions, wherever possible, including LaGrange, Minister of Seniors, Community and Social Services Jason Nixon, Minister of Mental Health and Addiction Dan Williams, and Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Health Martin Long.
