Downtown snow clearing happening in select locations Monday evening

Officials with the City of Red Deer says there will be snow clearing happening on select downtown streets Monday evening as crews focus on ensuring roads are well-maintained, safe and accessible.

Crews will focus on:

• 43 Street between 48 Avenue and 47 Avenue
• 43 Street between 48 Avenue and 49 Avenue
• 47 Avenue between 43 Street and 50 Street
• 48 Avenue between 43 Street and 50 Street
• Spruce Drive between 37 Street and 43 Street

Officials say No Parking signs have been placed notifying residents that parking is not permitted this evening. Work will begin at approximately 9 p.m. and continue until it is complete.
