Recreational enhancements a key focus in Penhold for 2023 and 2024

2023 was a year of great outdoor amenity growth in Penhold with the completion of the Community Hub area south of the Penhold Multiplex.
According to Town officials, last year’s additions to the area include a community gazebo with common gathering space, washroom facilities, a second ball diamond, additional paved trails and an aeration system for the pond.
It’s further noted, this year will see the completion of the bridge over the pond for even more trail connectivity and the development of approximately four more kilometers of new trails being built throughout Penhold, connecting the trail systems to key areas throughout the community.
Officials also point out that renovations to the Multiplex Fitness Life Studio doubled the available space for group fitness, providing the opportunity for even more people to take part in the many fitness classes offered at the Penhold Multiplex Fitness Centre.
