No SCHOOL on Jan. 11

Wolf Creek Public Schools closed on Thursday due to extreme cold weather, RDCRS rural bus service canceled

The Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) District has announced that with temperatures expected to remain below -40°C and colder, as forecasted by Environment Canada, Wolf Creek Public Schools has decided to close schools and cancel buses for Friday, January 12, 2024.

Officials thank you for your understanding.

Meantime, Due to the extreme cold warnings today, Thursday, Jan 11th, 2024,  the following school bus service has been canceled for the Red Deer Catholic School Division. 

ALL RURAL ( Red Deer County,  Sylvan Lake, Olds, Rocky Mountain House) school buses are canceled but the schools are open.

Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Olds, Innisfail and Rocky Mountain House Rural School Buses are canceled, however the schools are open.
