Innisfail RCMP announce second annual Battle of the Badges charity game this week

The Innisfail Battle of the Badges RCMP vs Fire charity game will be returning for their second fundraiser this week.

The second annual game will be played this Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Innisfail Twin Arena (5804 42 St.). Doors open at 6 p.m. and puck drops at 7 p.m.

Entry is free with a donation of food or cash, with all proceeds going to the Innisfail Food Bank.

Their first charity game last year raised 1,487 pounds of food and $6,038 in cash for the food bank.

There will be a beer gardens, 50/50, prizes and special Police Vs Fire concession items.

The arena is expected to be 100 per cent filled, so guests are being encouraged to arrive
early to ensure they get a seat.
