Regional Economic Partnership announces new board

The Central Alberta Economic Partnership (CAEP) is pleased to announce its 2024 slate of Directors and Executive Committee members.

Newly elected chair, Jean Barclay, Mayor of Innisfail says, “ I am excited to take on this new role as the Chair of CAEP. We have a dedicated and diverse Board of Directors representing municipalities and industry who are committed to working together for the betterment of our central Alberta region,” says Barclay. “Our region offers incredible opportunities for investors and a wonderful quality of life. We look forward to working with our current members, future members, all levels of government, educational institutions, and organizations to move our region forward because we are always better together.”

Central Alberta Economic Partnership elected the 2024 Board of Directors at its Fall General Meeting Nov. 16, 2023 in Red Deer. CAEP says it extends its appreciation to general meeting sponsor Waste Connections Canada and to Dave Price who presented on behalf of Sunterra Family Business.

CAEP’s Executive Director Tracy Gardner says, “Central Alberta is positioned for incredible opportunity to celebrate development and engagement with this forward thinking and talented group of regional leaders.”
