4th Annual Cold Weather Walk in support of The Mustard Seed
A Better World Canada is encouraging central Albertans to take part in this year’s Cold Weather Walk in support of those experiencing homelessness in our community.
The 4th annual Walk takes place Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, and is inspired and led by ABW supporter Cathy Wright, who will raise funds for The Mustard Seed of Red Deer, which serves the homeless community and children in need.
The Mustard Seed provides shelter, clothing and meals to those experiencing poverty or homelessness, and school lunch programs for children in need.
The 2km Walk starts at 2:00 p.m. at Cranna Lake in Lacombe, AB. Participants are asked to meet at the entrance at 42 Woodland Drive by the corner of Cedar Crescent.
