Red Deer RCMP are currently on scene at the corner of 52 Avenue and Holmes street in Red Deer in relation to a high-risk arrest.

Residents of the complex are asked to shelter in place while police attend. Members of the public are asked to avoid the area until further notice.

Police ask that photos of responding officers not be placed on social media until after the incident is over.

Mounties say a release will be sent out once the scene has been cleared.
