RCMP investigating B&E at Bashaw grocery store

Bashaw RCMP are investigating a break and enter to a local grocery store.

Mounties say they received a report of a break and enter to Bashaw Groceries on Dec. 11.

Their investigation has determined that at about 3:15 a.m., a white Chrysler 300 with tinted windows and black rims pulled up to the store.

Two suspects then exited the vehicle, and they allegedly breached the glass of the front door.

They are said to have then stolen a large amount of cigarettes and lottery tickets.
