Rebels trade D Andrusiak to Saskatoon

The Red Deer Rebels have traded 19-year-old defenceman Nicholas Andrusiak to the Saskatoon Blades.

In exchange, the Rebels receive a fifth-round selection in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft.

Andrusiak, of Tisdale, SK, has tallied three assists in 47 regular season games with the Rebels since he was acquired last January from the Portland Winterhawks.

In 12 playoff games last season, including against Saskatoon, he recorded two assists.
