Rebels win fourth straight in victory over Pats
The Red Deer Rebels winning streak continued at the Peavey Mart Centrium Saturday night following a 3-2 victory over the Regina Pats.
The win makes four-in-a-row for the Rebels and improves their record to above .500 on the season so far to 10-9-0-3.
It was the Pats, however, who would score first when Brayden Barnett scored his third goal of the season at 7:07 to put the visitors up 1-0.
The Rebels managed to tie it up 1-1 before the period came to an end though when Mats Lindgren scored his third of the season with just 25 seconds left. Kai Uchacz and Hunter Mayo assisted on the power play goal following a high sticking penalty to Regina’s Kolten Bridgeman.
