Red Deer housing starts see increase in September and year over year

Red Deer housing starts increased in September when compared to the month before and with the same month last year.

According to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), there were 23 housing starts in Red Deer in September, up from 18 housing starts of all types in August, and 11 in September 2022.

Year-to-date figures show 146 housing starts of all types in Red Deer to the end of September, up from 111 seen in the first nine months of 2022.
