Red Deer Hospice launches 4th annual Memorial Angel fundraiser

Red Deer Hospice is kicking off the holiday season with their 4th Annual Memorial Angel Campaign.

The 24k gold-plated ornaments, accented with Swarovski crystal, are $25.00 each. All proceeds raised from the campaign will go directly to resident comfort and care at Red Deer Hospice.

When a resident passes away, memorial angel ornaments are placed in the window of Hospice’s Sanctuary Room. At the end of each year, the care team hosts a private ceremony, where the angels are moved to the Hospice Memorial Tree.

“It’s a time of reflection,” says Jerri Taylor, Red Deer Hospice Executive Director. “Our staff remember and share memories of the residents they cared for during their time at Hospice.”
