Vehicle theft suspect last seen at Innisfail Co-op gas bar

Innisfail RCMP are seeking assistance to identify the suspect in a vehicle theft earlier this September.

It was Sept. 15 at about 1:30 a.m., police say, when a female suspect abandoned a stolen black 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe at the Innisfail Co-op gas bar.

It had been stolen two days earlier during a residential break and enter in Sherwood Park. In that incident, police say suspects used a garage door opener stolen from a vehicle parked outside to enter the home and steal the keys for the vehicle.

RCMP have obtained video surveillance photos of the female suspect In Innisfail, and are asking for public assistance in identifying her.
