Sept. 11 memorial event goes Sunday at City Hall Park

This Sunday, a day before the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Red Deer Honour Guard will once again hold a special ceremony downtown.

The Emergency Services Memorial March goes at 10 a.m. in City Hall Park.

Sept. 10 is also Firefighters’ National Memorial Day, which was established by the Government of Canada in 2017.

The public is welcome to attend.
