Chinook’s Edge board elects chair and vice chair

The Board for Chinook’s Edge School Division held its annual organizational meeting on September 5.

The Board re-elected Holly Bilton as Chair and elected Sherry Cooper as Vice-Chair.

Officials say the Board also selected committee membership for the upcoming year. Trustees voted to increase their remuneration by two per cent, which matches the increase staffing groups will be receiving starting this month.

Meantime, the Board also heard from Jason Drent, Associate Superintendent of Learning Services, about summer learning opportunities for Chinook’s Edge students.
