Lane closure on Red Deer’s northbound Taylor Drive Bridge

Red Deer motorists are being advised of an upcoming lane closure on northbound Taylor Drive Bridge this week.

Starting today between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on and Thursday, August 17, the northbound right lane on the bridge will be closed while crews install water quality monitoring equipment.

Drivers are being reminded to slow down when in construction areas and pedestrians are to cross only at designated crosswalks.

The City says the work is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
