Road closure on Red Deer’s 47 Avenue on Thursday

Red Deer drivers are being advised of an upcoming road closure on 47 Avenue tomorrow.

Starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, 47 Ave. will be closed between 49 Street and 50 (Ross) Street until 8 p.m.

The City says crews will be working on water and sewer infrastructure.

Drivers are being encouraged to take alternate routes where possible and are reminded to slow down and obey all signs when driving in construction zones. Pedestrians are reminded to cross only at designated crosswalks.
