Over two year sentence for Red Deer man convicted in firearms incident in Airdrie
It’s two years and 30 days in jail for a Red Deer man arrested in Airdrie last year after Mounties spotted an individual wanted on outstanding warrants in the community.
Jordan Leslie David Paupst-Wall, 29, was sentenced in Calgary Court of Justice on June 14, 2023, after being convicted on counts of possess firearm weapon in vehicle, possession contrary to order, and possess break-in instruments.
Paupst-Wall was also given a lifetime firearms prohibition while nine other counts against him were withdrawn.
It was on Mar. 10, 2022, when Airdrie RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit was on patrol when they recognized a male in a vehicle who they knew to have outstanding warrants in Airdrie’s Reunion neighbourhood. Members intercepted the male in a parking lot and he was arrested without incident.
