First Thursday outdoor concert hits the stage next month

The Friends of the Red Deer Public Library (Downtown Branch) are pleased to present an Outdoor Concert in City Hall Park, directly in front of the west entrance.

The show will take place Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 12:15 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

The performers are the Central Alberta Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jim Bicigo. Special guests are Danica Hoffart and Sharon Braun.

The Red Deer Public Library asks you to pre-register for this concert using the link below. The concert will not be held if there is inclement weather. Should the concert be cancelled, an email will be sent out the morning of the concert.

If you are able, bring a lawn chair.

This outdoor concert will not be live streamed.

Donations Thanks to those who have made donations in support of the First Thursday concerts. These funds have been used to pay fees and expenses for the musicians presenting at the Library. If anyone wishes to support these concerts, cheques should be made out to the Red Deer Public Library, with a memo for CONCERTS. A charitable receipt will be issued.
