To end the evening, seniors can get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Blackfalds Bulldogs train at their ice plant, visit their weight and locker rooms, and more.

On Tuesday, the Walking Club will start the day with a Hawaiian-themed walk at the Abbey Centre’s track.

In the afternoon, a “Seniors’ par’TEA’” will be held at the Eagle Builders Centre for crafts and tea.

On Wednesday, seniors and children will come together in an intergenerational event at the Community Centre called “Teddy Bear Tea” with music, crafts, storytime and a tea party.

At lunch, seniors can join for pizza, popcorn and a movie before heading to a seminar on Fraud Awareness in the afternoon.

On Thursday, the Walking Club will meet once again in the morning, this time for a cowboy-themed walk, before seniors can have the chance to chat with a dietician at 11 a.m. about meal options and nutrition.

A tie-dye class will close the day’s activities at 2 p.m. for seniors to create “super groovy” t-shirts to some funky tunes.

Finally on Friday, seniors can meet at 10 a.m. for some homemade soup at the Beyond Food Community Hub.

Admission is free all day at the Abbey Centre for seniors aged 60 and over. The Cheemo Club will also be hosting activities of their own at the Community Centre.
