Red Deer’s air quality deteriorates; advisory remains in effect
As of 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, Red Deer is sitting at a 10+ (very high risk) on the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI).
It was a 7 (high risk) at 8 a.m. this morning, then dropped to a 6 (moderate risk) by 9 a.m., before increasing.
It is forecast to improve as day turns to night, but nothing is guaranteed.
