Red Deer Polytechnic was recognized this week at the World Congress, an event in Montreal hosted by the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP), as well as Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).

The institution was recognized not just once, but with three CICac Awards of Excellence.

They include:

Indigenous Education – GOLD

Sustainable Development – SILVER

Student Leadership – BRONZE

“These awards recognize the strong programs and talented people that make up RDP,” says Stuart Cullum, President of Red Deer Polytechnic. “The awards for Indigenous Education, sustainability and student leadership, reflect the impact RDP delivers for our communities — regionally and globally — and position us well for the future.”

RDP also received international honours with a silver WFCP Award in Indigenous Education Excellence.
