Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team make arrest after observing dangerous driving
A Red Deer man is facing multiple charges after local Mounties apprehended a suspect accused of driving dangerously in a stolen vehicle.
On Mar. 15, 2023, at approximately 06:09 p.m., the Red Deer RCMP Crime Reduction Team (CRT) were conducting patrols when they observed a Mitsubishi Eclipse driving dangerously in a parking lot. Police say it was then learned that the vehicle was stolen.
David Gallinger, a 29-year-old resident of Red Deer, was arrested and remanded into custody. He is charged with:
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Failure to comply with release order x2
- Multiple offences under the Traffic Safety Act
