Trial scheduled for Red Deer nurse practitioner charged in alleged sexual assault

A nurse practitioner from Red Deer facing charges in an alleged sexual assault last summer has been scheduled for trial this spring.
Christopher Moon Mah, 43, is scheduled for trial in Drumheller provincial court on April 11, 2023.
Mah was arrested and charged with sexual assault, extortion and breach of trust on Nov. 19, 2022.
It was on July 27, 2022, Three Hills RCMP received a complaint and initiated an investigation regarding an alleged sexual assault. The complainant reported that a Three Hills Nurse Practitioner had sexually assaulted her in exchange for prescription medication and money.
