
Red Deer Polytechnic to host the 2024 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships
Red Deer Polytechnic has won the bid to host the 2024 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Women’s Volleyball National Championship.
Red Deer Polytechnic, which is a member of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and CCAA, will host the prestigious event in the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre from March 6-9, 2024.
“Red Deer Polytechnic is thrilled to host the Women’s Volleyball National Championship in 2024 and welcome Canada’s top teams to our amazing facilities,” says Stuart Cullum, President of Red Deer Polytechnic. “Building on our institution’s success in hosting the 2019 Men’s Volleyball National Championship, RDP is well-positioned to host the event and we are excited to showcase our outstanding Queens Volleyball program on the national stage.”
The championship games will be held in the Fas Gas – On the Run Gymnasium, which is located within the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre on the Polytechnic’s Main Campus. Rdp Athletics officials say this multi-purpose venue has a seating capacity of 1,200.
