Red Deer RCMP release alleged sexual assault details hoping other victims come forward

Red Deer RCMP are releasing details of an alleged sexual assault in hopes that more victims will come forward.

It was Feb. 23, 2022, police say, when they received a report of a sexual assault involving a Red Deer massage therapist.

Through investigation, it was then determined and alleged that the man sexually assaulted a female youth during a massage at a downtown chiropractor business.

As a result, the man was arrested and charged on Dec. 15. He was released and is set to appear in a Red Deer courtroom on Jan. 19, 2023.

Red Deer RCMP are asking the public to come forward with any information they may have about similar incidents involving the suspect.

In connection to the described incident, Brian Moore, a resident of Red Deer County, has been charged with sexual assault. He is described as:

• 5 feet, 8 inches
• Muscular build
• White-grey hair
