Red Deer man dies in Drayton Valley area crash

A Red Deer man is dead following a two-vehicle crash east of Drayton Valley early Thursday morning.

On Dec. 8, 2022 at 1:22 a.m., Breton Thorsby RCMP received a report of a serious collision on Highway 39 and Range Road 45.

Upon arrival, Mounties say the drivers and lone occupants of each vehicle were identified as a 41-year-old male resident of Red Deer and a 63-year-old male resident of Drayton Valley who were both deceased.

RCMP remained on scene for several hours while an RCMP collision analyst assisted with the investigation.

Police say the scene has now been cleared.
