Three Hills RCMP charge Red Deer nurse practitioner in alleged sexual assault

A nurse practitioner from Red Deer is facing charges after an alleged sexual assault this summer.

On July 27, 2022, Three Hills RCMP received a complaint and initiated an investigation regarding an alleged sexual assault. The complainant reported that a Three Hills Nurse Practitioner had sexually assaulted her in exchange for prescription medication and money.

On Nov. 19, 2022, Christopher Mah, 42, a resident of Red Deer, AB, was arrested and charged with sexual assault, extortion and breach of trust.

Mounties say Mah has been released from custody and will be appearing in Drumheller provincial court on Dec. 9, 2022.
