Innisfail and Didsbury RCMP advising of poor driving conditions

Innisfail RCMP Traffic Services Unit is advising motorists of deteriorating road conditions caused by snow and wind on the QE II Highway from Bowden to Highway 582.

RCMP are recommending against travel and are asking motorists to take extra precautions when driving in the area.

Meantime, Didsbury RCMP are advising of poor driving conditions today, specifically at the Carstairs overpass on Highway 2.

At this time, Mounties say there is a jackknifed travel trailer blocking one of the northbound lanes and traffic is moving very slow.

RCMP are asking motorists to please slow down and be cautious when passing through this area.
