Innisfail RCMP respond to jackknifed semi on QEll

In addition to poor weather and road conditions, motorists along the QE2 near Innisfail are also dealing with detours in the area Wednesday morning.

On November 2, 2022 at 4:51 a.m., Innisfail RCMP received a report of a jackknifed semi on Highway 2 at Innisfail. Mounties say no injuries are reported.

Police say the tractor trailer is affecting both north and southbound lanes of the highway and motorists are asked to seek alternate routes.

RCMP say an update will be provided when the highway becomes passable.
