The second annual Powwow Times International Gathering is this weekend, Oct. 14-16, at Westerner Park.
The pow wow’s theme this year is revitalization and preservation of Indigenous languages.
Accompanying the pow wow, which will attract world champion dancers and singers, will be an Indigenous language conferences and trade show.
It was also preceded by a youth gathering for Indigenous arts and learning, from 9-2 on Friday.
