CAEP to hold Fall General Meeting

The Central Alberta Economic Partnership (CAEP) is holding its fall general meeting next month.

Officials say the event on Nov. 23, 2022, will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the theme of this fall’s meeting being Economic Diversification through 21st Century Supply Chain Effectiveness.

CAEP members are anticipated to elect three board positions at this meeting: One county position and two towns and villages positions. All are three-year terms. To request a Nomination Form, email kimberley@caepalberta.com.

Organizers have announced that Alexander (Sasha) Sergeev will be the featured speaker this year. Sergeev is described as an energetic and passionate supply chain professional with ~20 years of diverse international experience in the oil & gas sector, deep commercial skills and a track record of delivery in various supply chain roles and various jurisdictions.

He is described as a passionate, people-focused leader with 15+ years of experience leading diverse multicultural teams to exceptional performance. Sergeev is further described as a forward-looking proponent of new digital SCM technology and tools as enablers to make supply chain a competitive differentiator for the business.

In January 2021 Sergeev was appointed Director Supply Chain Management Process & Performance at Cenovus Energy.
