Hockey Alberta is stopping short of withholding funds from Hockey Canada amid growing criticism of its handling of sexual assault allegations.
It says it has requested that the national body take certain actions and provide answers by specific deadlines.
Hockey Alberta says a lack of action may lead it to take other steps that could include withholding participant fees.
That action has already been taken by Hockey Quebec, Hockey Ontario, Hockey Nova Scotia and Hockey New Brunswick.
