Red Deer man arrested after B&E in Nisku

A Red Deer man is facing charges following his arrest in Nisku.

Leduc RCMP say it was Sept. 10 at about 2:25 a.m. when members responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a Nisku business.

One witness told police they’d observed two suspects on the property.

RCMP with the assistance of Edmonton Police Service Air 1 arrested one male.

The 43-year-old Red Deerian is charged with:

· Break and enter with intent

· Mischief over $5,000.

· Possession of break-in instruments

He was released and is scheduled to appear in a Leduc courtroom on Oct. 13.

“Leduc RCMP would like to thank the member of the public who observed a crime in progress and reported it to police immediately,” police say. “This person was instrumental in this suspect being caught by police.”
