Additional photos released of suspect vehicle in fatal hit and run near Red Deer

Blackfalds RCMP continue to investigate the tragic hit and run collision that occurred on July 6, 2022, south of 40 Ave at McKenzie Road, that left a 45-year-old cyclist deceased .

RCMP have new information regarding the suspect vehicle which fled the scene of this fatal collision.

The suspect vehicle is described as:

1999-2003 Mazda Protégé
Dark green in colour with heavy black tint
Aftermarket fog lights and exhaust
Chrome 5 spoke rims
No emblems
Roof mounted antenna
